2001: A Space Odyssey HAL 9000 Product & Packaging Design

Worked with Warner Bros. to develop an officially licensed HAL 9000 replica from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Utilized Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create inner and outer packaging/art mockups, a certificate of authenticity and display plaque, on-screen HAL 9000 graphics recreated from the film, and social media/promotional materials to help advertise the product. These were limited edition collectibles, and sold out quickly.

Smithsonian Fossil Replicas Product & Packaging Design

Worked with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History to create officially licensed fossil replicas from their collection and their respective packaging materials. These ranged from full-sized t-rex skulls to small trilobites and dinosaur claws. Utilized Adobe Illustrator to create a display plaque and six page trifold which acted as a certificate of authenticity and explanation of how the piece was re-created. Also used Adobe Illustrator to create outer packaging art and sell-sheets to give out to retailers which highlighted the fossil product line.

Impractical Jokers Product Designs & Advertising Campaigns

Teamed up with TruTV and James Murray “Murr” to develop and design a new line of products for the hit TV series, Impractical Jokers. These were officially licensed prank gift boxes designed to look like ridiculous products to fool your friends and family. Utilized Adobe Photoshop to create logos and product packaging for the various “products”.

APOLLO 11 BOOT PRINT REPLICA PACKAGE/ADVERTISING DESIGN

Using authentic scan data, Master Replicas was able to create an accurate 3D replica of the famous boot print photograph left behind by Apollo 11 astronauts. This was to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Authentic photographs of the moon landing were used to help create product packaging designs. A certificate of authenticity was also included with the piece.

EXO-WORLDS PRODUCT DESIGN & PACKAGING

EXO-WORLDS was a product line of magnetically floating planets designed by Master Replicas. These were based on planets discovered outside of our solar system. Utilized Adobe Photoshop to create the look of the planets to send to the factory, as well as all marketing collateral and packaging artwork.

Master Replicas carried many different product lines, all rooted in science or pop-culture. Below are various designs created using the Adobe Suite which helped advertise the product lines. These included social media posts, sell sheets for retailers, logo designs for new product lines, as well as poster designs.
